White House Decries 'Democrat Fabrication' as Further Epstein Estate Images Disclosed
Democratic lawmakers have made public a fresh batch of what they labeled "alarming" images from the estate of adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, featuring notably Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and ex-UK prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
The opening batch of 19 images—a portion of which have been previously circulated—combined with another 70 released later on Friday represent a tiny fraction of the almost 100,000 images released to the House investigative panel, which is looking into the actions and ties of Epstein.
The shamed investor died by apparent suicide in a New York jail cell in 2019 after being indicted on sex-trafficking charges.
Notable Figures in the Images
Included in the prominent personalities seen in the opening set are celebrities such as movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft creator Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, originator of the Virgin business group.
Donald Trump is featured in three of the first nineteen images. In one, he is pictured with six women, whose faces are obscured.
White House Reaction
The White House reacted to the release in a official comment, alleging Democrats of purposefully "choosing" the images for partisan aims and to "seek to establish a false narrative."
"The Democrat hoax against President Trump has been consistently disproven," an administration official stated, insisting that "the Trump administration has done more for Epstein's survivors than Democrats have ever done by repeatedly calling for transparency, releasing reams of records, and calling for additional probes into Epstein's Democrat friends."
Panel Member Remarks
The photographs were released lacking captions, but as stated by a Democratic representative from California and senior member of the oversight committee, they raise more questions about Epstein's connections to the rich and powerful.
"The moment has come to stop this White House cover-up and secure justice to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his well-connected allies," he stated in a comment.
The disclosure of these images occurs alongside the House panel proceeding with its investigation into the affair.
